Delete Your Account

You can delete your Hisaab account at any time. This page explains what gets deleted and how to do it.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  1. Your profile (name, email, avatar)
  2. All expenses you added across all groups
  3. All settlements you recorded
  4. Your membership in all groups
This cannot be undone.

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you are the only member of a group, the group and all its history will also be deleted.

Option 1 — Delete from the app

  1. Open Hisaab and go to Profile
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm when prompted

Your account and all data will be deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your account and we will delete it within 7 days.
